A chip manufacturing initiative announced by SpaceX and Tesla in March 2026; Intel joined in April 2026. SpaceX's own registration statement states that specific projects under the framework, INCLUDING development timelines, milestones and capital expenditures, "have not yet been determined", so this record carries no production year and no investment figure for this site. Figures of USD 16.8 billion for a first phase and a 2028 mass-production target have been reported in the press and are not recorded here, because the operator's own filing says they are not settled. Coordinates are the approximate centre of Grimes County, not a surveyed site location. Scale, stated by SpaceX and Elon Musk, as reported by Electrek (6 August 2026) and Fortune (10 August 2026): more than 100 million square feet. No SpaceX filing was found to contain this figure: the Form S-1 of 20 May 2026, both amendments (1 and 3 June 2026) and the final prospectus of 12 June 2026 were searched on 27 September 2026, including every exhibit.
