Received CHIPS Act funding alongside Colorado Springs. Duplicate row microchip-gresham folded in 21 August 2026. Microchip calls this fab 'Fab 4' and its FY2026 10-K states it 'currently produces 8-inch wafers using predominantly 0.11 microns to 0.5 microns manufacturing processes'. The fab Microchip closed in May 2025 was Fab 2 in Tempe, Arizona, not this one.
